The Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach is such a perfect wedding venue. There’s great weather year round and you don’t have to go far to get beautiful pictures. The interior boasts elegant architecture and decor, but the outside offers a wide view of Newport Beach and Newport Harbor.
This bridal party was one of the rowdiest groups I’ve ever seen! Their energy started the party way before we even got to the Balboa Bay Club reception.

Marisa and Brandon’s wedding in Las Vegas was truly fabulous!
Their destination wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada definitely had its advantages. We had a wide variety of options for memorable pictures – from the desert backdrop, to the mesmerizing city lights, to the festive streets of old town, and to exploring historic neon lights. What’s more important is that they were able to have they special day (weekend) exactly the way they wanted it. Their getaway to Las Vegas had that special sparkle, the swank, and style that only Vegas can offer.

Raluca and Chris’ post wedding pictures in Downtown Los Angeles was a blast! They wanted their bridal session at the Disney Concert Hall to be a styled but fun photo shoot. Here are just a few favorites of mine:
I had planned a styled photo shoot with Chris and Raluca for their post wedding pictures. It’s always fun to get dressed up and take more photos after the wedding. It’s sort of like a bridal portrait session, but it can be casual or formal. We’ve even used the wedding dress for these types of shoots, so I call those “Love the Dress” sessions. This time Raluca and Chris wanted to get dressed up in formal cocktail attire. They both looked stunning, especially Raluca in her deep red gown. Christel and Kyle: naturally sexy
We hiked up the hill to the spot where Kyle proposed to Christel in Del Mar. It was a picturesque setting with rare Torrey Pines surrounding the hillside, clear blue skies above, and the pearly ocean just beneath us. I hadn’t even started taking pictures yet when Kyle wrapped his arms around Christel – they embraced. Kissed. Naturally. It was the beginning of an amazing photo about two young people in love.

Bride’s bouquet - White peonies and phalaenopsis orchids in a ivory French wrap accented with crystals. The bride wanted to honor her late grandmother by attaching a locket with her picture.

Shanna and Azande have a certain connection like no other. I’m not sure how to explain it but it’s absolute chemistry between them! No matter where they are they easily get lost in each other’s eyes.
When the sun started to drop, we had the most beautiful sunset colors. Their engagement pictures in Laguna Beach looked spectacular!
This Laguna Beach sunset is one of the most dramatic I’ve seen in a while. This spot is the perfect place for wedding pictures, portraits, engagement photos, or just for capturing beach sunsets.
