I’m still trying to figure out how to effectively use Pinterest as part of my social networking efforts. As far as I know it’s a great way to share images, ideas, and inspiration. You can find pictures of just about anything you want as long as someone out there has posted or ‘pinned’ a photo of it. Wedding photography, engagement pictures, photo sessions, planning tips, DIY guides, and everything you can think of in your search for ideas can be found. Here’s my contribution to the collective – I pinned some wedding details from recent events that I photographed.
So hopefully this helps someone in some way either by inspiration or ideas for wedding theme and planning. Click here for the Pinterest link to my wedding details.
I’ve been truly blessed to be doing wedding photography! I get to meet wonderful new clients, take their pictures, witness their love stories, and deliver pictures that are not your typical wedding photos. I create tangible proof of love – pictures that are the perfect blend of wedding photojournalism, artistic imagery, and romantic portraiture. Your wedding day will be one of the most important days of your lives, and I cannot stress enough how crucial your pictures will be in preserving your memories. Contact me to see the difference in what a full time studio can offer in terms of artistry, quality and reliability. In the meantime, I’d love to share with you a few of my favorite wedding pictures – please hit ‘play’ and enjoy!

Some favorite images from Pia and Ryan’s engagement pictures in Los Angeles. We started their session at the Van Nuys Airport to get some shots in an jet plane. This airplane theme was special to them because their relationship started off as a long distance affair. Ryan commuted back and forth from San Francisco to see Pia, and they spent a lot of time at airports and traveling.

We also used the gorgeous Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica for their engagement pictures. Before their wedding, they wanted photos of them in a hip LA hotspot – and there’s no better place than the fashionable ambience that the Viceroy offers.

Brenda and Carlos picked a gorgeous place for their engagement pictures – the Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles. She’s a photographer herself, so I’m sure she knew what a beautiful backdrop it would create. The light was amazing and the following sunset was absolutely breathtaking.

Their love story goes back all the way to when they first met in high school so Carlos had planned a very special wedding proposal for Brenda – read about The Proposal

Some favorite images from Shannah and Caleb’s post wedding photos in downtown Los Angeles, the Veteran’s Park LA, and The Los Angeles Union Station. They wanted to do a vintage themed portrait session at the train station featuring the classic architecture at the Union Station.

It’s always easy when I photograph a couple that’s madly in love with each other. Every moment captured looks amazing. That’s just one of the bonuses I got when I met up with Amanda and Ryan on the UCLA campus for their bridal and post wedding photo session. Amanda looked stunning in her wedding dress and she has this natural elegance in her poise. Ryan looked sharp with a calm and confident demeanor. Good looks, love in the air, and the beautiful campus as our backdrop made this photo shoot fabulous!

We had set up a photo booth just for fun and it ended up being such a huge success! Thanks in part to all the hams that posed.
